I recall being delighted with the Blackberry Nip rose when I first saw it. Rich purple highly fragrant hybrid teas aren't common. Until then I'd known Blackberry Nip as a sweet liqueur, the first alcoholic drink to pass these lips, lolly water - mixed with lemonade.
